In Todos Santos, you can work on your physical and mental health with practices like yoga, meditation and healing rituals at luxury resorts, learning centers, on the beach, on your own or under the guidance of experts or at one of the numerous retreats held throughout the year.

※ If you’re looking for something really unique, the private candlelight yoga sessions organized by Villa Santa Cruz are a great option. This resort also offers cacao ceremonies, sound baths, massages and spa treatments.
The Cuatro Vientos studio runs courses and workshops specializing in teaching yoga, the healing arts, meditation and personal growth. Another alternative if you’re interested in yoga classes, meditation and organic food is Clarananda, north of Todos Santos, which also holds spiritual retreats.

The Ojo de Agua Spa & Wellness Center at Paradero Todos Santos promises the full healing and relaxation experience, complete with temascal, massages, hydrotherapies and sound ceremonies to purify and replenish the soul.
Some outlying properties also highlight wellness. The luxury Kimpton Mas Olas (adults-only) on El Pescadero Beach offers yoga classes and has a 6,500-square-foot spa where you can pamper yourself with a full range of treatments, while savoring a fresh, sophisticated menu.

※ Contact with nature is another path to promoting wellness. We recommend you visit some of the farms on the outskirts of Todos Santos, where not only can you take in the vistas, but you can also learn how cheese is made or crops harvested.

For an even more profound connection with Mother Nature, try horseback riding on the beach or help out at one of the sea turtle conservation centers that play a vital role in ensuring the baby turtles hatch and reach the ocean safely.
Seasoned hikers enjoy going on longer routes from Todos Santos in the company of expert guides who point out endemic species and spectacular views in the Sierra La Laguna Biosphere Reserve.

Discover the more laidback, natural side of Todos Santos at the Wellness Fest that takes place every November.
The program includes free yoga and meditation classes taught by world-famous instructors, conferences promoting healthier lifestyles, organic food and live music.

※ This Magical Town is a great place to buy fresh, quality ingredients for cooking healthy meals.
Fish and seafood lovers are advised to set out early for Punta Lobos to get the best pick of the day’s catch. Located some two and a half miles south of Todos Santos, small boats laden with mackerel, sole, sierra and other types of fish come ashore on this beach. And if you tip the boatman, he’ll filet your fish for you.

Another great option if you’re trying to take better care of yourself is to sign up for a cooking class using organic products at the famous Hotel California.

If it’s organic products you’re shopping for, Todos Santos has several options:
※ Mercado Orgánico Todos Santos is an organic market that sets up its stalls every Friday from 9 am to 2 pm on General Topete Street. Rancho Buen Día and Orgánicos-Organics bring customers the best of their harvests, from the sweetest of fruits to leafy green and root vegetables. There are also tables so you can enjoy some food, often while listening to live music.
※ Mercado Ranchero is a store on Horizonte Street specializing in organic and craft products. In addition to the food products, wines and liqueurs produced by the 41 ranches it works with in the state of Baja California Sur, it also sells furniture and household items made from iron, clay, carved stone and other such materials.
※ Mercado Baja Beans kicks off at 8 am on Sundays in the neighboring village of El Pescadero. Farmers from all over the region come here to sell everything from fruit preserves and pickled chili peppers to fresh farm eggs, smoked fish and locally-grown coffee. You can even buy eco-friendly cleaning products and handicrafts.

When it comes to eating well, there is no shortage of healthy options in Todos Santos.
※ Pura Vida is a restaurant on Rangel Street that specializes in healthy dishes made from local products, as well as juices and smoothies. It also has a well-stocked store where you can buy dairy, vegetables, fruit and other organic products.
※ In El Pescadero, some 8 miles to the south, is Cocina de Campo by Agricole, a project that aims to revive the “orchard-to-table” concept. Contemporary cuisine based on produce harvested on-site in their own plots is served at their open-air restaurant, or you can stock your own pantry at their farmhouse store. Other restaurants in the area that offer this concept are Jazamango (Todos Santos) and Hierbabuena (El Pescadero).
※ Also in El Pescadero is the adults-only Kimpton Mas Olas, whose restaurants use only the freshest natural ingredients. Enjoy homegrown vegetables, the catch of the day and organic meats in a garden setting at Botánica, or dine at Kahal in view of the Pacific.
